Our Management Team

Alan BoydPresident
Alan's a native Georgian who received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Pensacola Christian College. He is passionate about what he does, and he's not a fan of the words "it's not possible." He believes that people can accomplish more than they think they can if they really set their minds to it, use their resources wisely, and just simply not give up easily. This mentality and great relationships with subcontractors, architects, and engineers allow us to accomplish fast track projects as we do. In his "spare time," he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family, serving at his church, offshore fishing, and Formula One racing. Alan has been an active member of North Point Commuinity Church for over 21 years.


Kristen Davis
Kristen Davis grew up in the metro Atlanta area and graduated from Georgia College and State University with a BBA in International Business. She began her career as a Leasing Consultant with the property management company Post Properties in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her career with Post Properties and gained valuable leadership experience as a Property Manager at several Class A properties in Buckhead, Georgia. Kristen joined the Boyd Construction team as an Executive Assistant in 2015. When she’s not chasing around after her children, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking and boating.
Mike Pellegrom
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Stout with a degree in Building Construction Management, Mike has filled the roles of Project Manager and Superintendent on hundreds of projects of various types, sizes and complexities. With a variety of project experience, such as waste water treatment, Marta station construction, high rise, medical, retail, commercial interiors, religious, and even the restoration of a historical sculpture, Mike provides a wide and diverse range of experience that benefits any type project. Mike enjoys the field operations role most in the construction process, and after 35 years in the industry still finds great excitement in starting a new project.
Janet Ballagh
Janet graduated with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from The University of Akron in 1994 and a Masters in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering in 1996. She began her career as a designer for Tensar, a geogrid /soil reinforcement manufacturing company. She progressed into national sales, and then used her desire to help people do their jobs more efficiently by becoming an implementation manager with Constructware (currently part of the Autodesk solution for construction), an on-line project management software. Janet and her husband serve at their church and their 9 year old daughter’s school.
